[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nTORONTO, July 12 /CNW/ - Cencotech Inc. (CTZ - TSX-V) today reports\nprogress in its alliance with the CompuSafe(R) division of Brink's,\nIncorporated of Coppell, Texas. While Cencotech's subsidiary, NamSys Inc. has\nsold a small number of \"CashNet\" units to the CompuSafe(R) division of Brink's\nover the past year, these units have been used by Brink's for demonstration\npurposes with their clients.\nUnder the alliance arrangement with Brink's, the CashNet System is\nlabeled as the CompuSafe(R) 4000 Series System. Brink's has started to roll\nout these systems into large retailers to automate their clients' moneyrooms,\ngreatly improving the cost characteristics and efficiency of the clients\ncurrency operations. In support of this initiative, the CompuSafe(R) division\nof Brink's has placed a firm order for 50 units of CashNet to be delivered\nover the next 60 days.\nK. Barry Sparks, Cencotech's President stated: \"Over the past year we\nhave reported on our developing sales alliance strategy to penetrate the large\nvolume currency handling marketplace. To this end, our subsidiary Namsys has\ndeveloped an excellent relationship with the CompuSafe(R), a division of\nBrink's, Incorporated. We are delighted to see the start of the deployment of\nour systems by Brink's into large retailers in the United States. This initial\norder should only be the beginning of what we believe will be wide adoption of\nthe CompuSafe(R) 4000 System by large retailers all across North America.\nWhile it is too early to try to quantify how many CompuSafe(R) 4000 units\nmight be installed, each large retailer location maintains a moneyroom and the\neconomic case that Brink's service offering makes to the retailer is\ncompelling.\"\n\nCencotech Inc. was created to acquire and manage emerging high technology\nenterprises with sound business solutions for their customers. The\nCorporation's present products are designed to bring efficiency to the\nprocessing of currency and other value instruments in financial institutions,\nlarge retailers, public transportation operations and the gaming industry.\nCencotech systems are \"open-architectured\" and have been developed to\ninterface with client's legacy systems.\n\nThe TSX Venture Exchange has neither approved nor disapproved of the\ninformation contained in this release.
