[{"type":"text","content":"\n Morgan Sindall PLC\n04 October 2007\n\n\nMorgan Sindall plc\n\n4 October 2007\n\n\n MORGAN ASHURST TO BUILD £25 MILLION\n\n COLLEGE IN BRACKNELL\n\n\nMorgan Sindall plc, the construction and regeneration group, announces today\nthat Morgan Ashurst, its construction division, has been awarded a £25 million\nscheme to redevelop Bracknell and Wokingham College in Bracknell, Berkshire.\n\n\nThe design and build contract will see Morgan Ashurst constructing an\neight-storey reinforced concrete frame building. It will feature teaching and\nseminar rooms, a multi-purpose sports hall, staffrooms and a learning resource\ncentre. A three-storey steel-frame building will also be constructed to house\nclassrooms and a car workshop.\n\n\nThe existing Bracknell and Wokingham College will be demolished and landscaping\nundertaken when the new building is complete. Work is due to finish in December\n2009.\n\n\nPaul Smith, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall plc, said:\n\n\n'The award of this significant construction project reinforces Morgan Ashurst's\nleading position in the education market.
