[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 2851K Morgan Sindall PLC 16 April 2010  \n \n\n \n \n \n16 April 2010\n \nMorgan Sindall combines businesses to form new division\n \nMorgan Sindall plc, the construction and regeneration group, today announces its intention to combine its construction business Morgan Ashurst and infrastructure services business Morgan Est to create a single, enlarged division. Graham Shennan, managing director of Morgan Ashurst, will head-up the new division which will trade under the Morgan Sindall name.\n \nBoth divisions have substantially increased their scope and scale in recent years. This has led to an increase in the delivery of integrated construction services to clients from the two businesses, specifically in sectors such as rail, aviation and defence. The combination will also further enhance Morgan Sindall's ability to bid for larger, more complex contracts that encompass civil engineering, design and building work.\n \nThe new division will sit alongside Morgan Sindall's existing divisions of fit out, affordable housing and urban regeneration, supported by the Group's specialist investment unit, Morgan Sindall Investments.\n \nGraham Shennan, who joined Morgan Sindall in 2002, is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has extensive senior management experience in construction, civil engineering, plant and design.\n \nPaul Smith, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall plc, said:\n \n\"This is a natural progression for the two divisions and ensures we continue to develop our service to meet clients' needs.
