[{"type":"text","content":"\n Morgan Sindall PLC\n10 July 2007\n\nMorgan Sindall plc\n\nMorgan Sindall JV awarded Dorset Emergency Services Partnership Initiative PFI\n\nConstruction and urban regeneration group Morgan Sindall plc announces that as\npart of the Partnership for Fire Limited (Pff), a joint venture between Morgan\nSindall Investments, Calderpeel Carden Croft and Barclays European\nInfrastructure Fund, it has achieved financial close on the Dorset Emergency\nServices Partnership Initiative (DESPI) PFI project.\n\nPff has signed a 25 year project agreement with Dorset Fire Authority and Dorset\nPolice Authority to design, build, finance and operate a number of new fire and\nemergency services facilities in Dorset. Pff will provide two new fire stations\nand a new joint police divisional and fire area headquarters in Poole and a\nsecond fire service area headquarters in Dorchester. Bluestone (soon to be\nrenamed Morgan Ashurst), Morgan Sindall's construction business, will design and\nbuild these new facilities with construction of the accommodation due to start\nimmediately. The anticipated value of construction works is approximately £46\nmillion over two years.\n\nPaul Smith, Morgan Sindall's Group Chief Executive said:\n\n'Morgan Sindall is delighted to enter into this strategic partnership with the\nDorset Fire and Police Authorities.
