[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 0809L Morgan Sindall Group PLC 26 July 2011 \n \n\n \n26 July 2011\nMorgan Sindall awarded £65 million Hull BSF contract treble\n \nMorgan Sindall Group plc, the construction and regeneration group, today announces that Morgan Sindall, its construction and infrastructure division, has secured three further contracts, worth a total of £65 million, from Hull City Council's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.\n \nThe three new-build contracts comprise Kingswood College of Arts, Oakfield Special Needs School and Andrew Marvell Business and Enterprise College. Work on all three projects is scheduled to complete by January 2013.\n \nIn March last year, Morgan Sindall was awarded the first two new-build contracts, worth £71 million, from this programme. Work on these schools is set to be completed in time for the start of the new school year.\n \nThe contracts follow the Hull Esteem Consortium, a partnership consisting of Morgan Sindall Investments (MSIL), Robertson Capital Projects and Hull-based Sewell Group, reaching financial close on this latest phase of the BSF programme.\n \nThe Hull Esteem Consortium together with Hull City Council and Partnership for Schools, form a Local Education Partnership (LEP) which provides project and operational management and new project development services, ensuring the BSF programme is delivered on time and on budget.\n \nMSIL will invest equity and sub debt of £2.5 million into the second phase of schools, taking its investment so far in the Hull BSF programme to £5 million. \n \nPaul Smith, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall Group plc, said:\n \n\"Morgan Sindall has a leading position in the education sector and a growing reputation for exceptional project delivery.
