[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 7255M Morgan Sindall Group PLC 22 August 2011 \n \n\n \n22 August 2011\n \nMorgan Sindall appointed to £3 billion West Midlands construction framework\n \nMorgan Sindall Group plc, the construction and regeneration group, today announces that Morgan Sindall, its construction and infrastructure division, and Lovell, its affordable housing division, have together been appointed by Birmingham City Council to the Constructing West Midlands framework. Morgan Sindall and Lovell will work on projects secured through the framework under the name Community Solutions West Midlands.\n \nCommunity Solutions West Midlands, along with three other contractors, has been selected on the framework lot which covers works costing over £500,000. The four-year framework, which has the potential to be extended to eight years, has an estimated value of £3 billion and is available to all public sector bodies within the West Midlands region.\n \nThis appointment follows shortly after Morgan Sindall secured positions on a number of major frameworks including a £750 million Network Rail framework, the £1 billion iESE framework, the £1.2 billion framework programme of upgrades and improvements for Gatwick Airport, a £400 million schools framework in South East Wales and the £500 million Smarte East Alliance construction framework.\n \nPaul Smith, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall Group plc, said:\n \n\"This is a major framework and we are delighted that two of the Group's divisions have secured positions on it.
