His appointment is effective from 1 November\n2006.\n\nCurrently, Terry is Chief Executive of Tube Lines, a joint venture formed to\nmanage the PPP work to deliver improvements to the Jubilee, Northern and\nPiccadilly lines, a position which he has held since 2002. In addition, he has\nbeen a Non-Executive Director of the NAAFI.\n\nPreviously, he was Group Managing Director - Operations (2001-02) and Group HR\nDirector (1996-2001) at BAE Systems, where he oversaw a period of significant\nre-organisation; Managing Director of Royal Ordnance at British Aerospace\n(1994-96), at a time of rapidly reducing expenditure on defence equipment; and\nManaging Director of Land Rover Vehicles at Rover Group PLC (1989-94), where he\nsupervised the introduction of the Discovery. He holds an MSc in Engineering\nProduction & Management from Birmingham University.\n\nCommenting on the appointment, Dermot Gleeson, Chairman, said: 'One of the\nthreads running through Terry Morgan's broadly-based CV is the successful\nmanagement of change.
