(TSX-V: VGM) ("Virgin\nMetals" or the "Company") has resumed drilling at its 100% owned Los Verdes\nmolybdenum/copper project in Sonora, northern Mexico. One reverse circulation\nrig and one diamond rig are now working at the site. The objectives of the\nreverse circulation drilling are to carry out the recommendations of the\nrecently published National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report dated\n23rd January 2007 by Chlumsky Armbrust and Meyer (the "Technical Report"), to\nextend drilling onto the contiguous and recently acquired Bacanora claim and\nto provide infill drilling in certain areas of the known mineralization. The\nobjective of the diamond drilling is to compare diamond drilling results to\nreverse circulation results, to provide greater information about the style of\nmineralization, to determine structural features, to provide geotechnical data\nfor pit design, to characterize different ore types and to provide a range of\nsamples for specific gravity determination.\n\n\nOne of the first objectives of the reverse circulation drilling was to\ncarry out the recommendation no. 14 of section 22 of the Technical Report, in\nwhich the writers recommended that about five holes be drilled in an X or L\npattern at "blast hole separation" in order to confirm the short range plan\nmineable continuity of the deposit. Accordingly, holes LVRC4607 to LVRC5107\nwere drilled in a rough L shape at approximately 5m spacing adjacent to hole\nno LVRC0106. The results of hole LVRC0106 were reported in the Press Release\ndated August 22nd 2006. The results of holes LVRC4607 to LVRC5107 are noted\nbelow; it should be stressed that these holes represent neither newly\ndiscovered mineralization nor significant step outs from known mineralization.\nIt is believed that the reported intercepts represent the true width of the\nsecondary enrichment zone.\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n Inclina- Total Inter- Mo\nVGM tion Depth From To cept (Total) Cu W Ag\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nDrill Hole (metres)(metres)(metres)(metres) % % % g/t\n----------------------------------------...
