("Virgin Metals" or\nthe "Company") presents assay results for six diamond drill holes totaling\n2,350 meters at the Company's 100% owned Cuatro Hermanos copper-molybdenum\nporphyry property located 150 km southeast of Hermosillo in Sonora, northern\nMexico. Results presented here, for holes CHDD01-08 through CHDD06-08 are part\nof a deep core drilling program which began in June to test the mineralizing\nsystem at greater depths than any of the previous exploration campaigns. The\nwork was carried out by Major Drilling de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. using a\nskid-mounted UDR-200D drill with a depth capability of 800 meters.\n\n\nLast year and during the first two months of 2008, the Company completed\na 26 hole reverse circulation drill program on the property totaling 5,907\nmeters. Many of the RC holes bottomed in copper-molybdenum mineralization at\ndepths of up to 305 meters, yet due to limitations in the drill equipment, the\ncontractor was unable to extend the holes to greater depths. Nonetheless,\nresults for the RC drill program together with the results from several\nhistoric drill holes have allowed Denver-based consultants Chlumsky, Ambrust\nand Meyer, LLC (CAM) to complete a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate for\nthe upper portion of one of the mineralized porphyries (July 10, 2008 News\nRelease). The mineralizing system at Cuatro Hermanos is relatively large and\ncontains multiple centers of porphyry style Cu-Mo mineralization over an area\nof at least 4.5 square kilometers. Drill holes CHDD01-08 through CHDD04-08 lie\nwithin a 1,200 m long x 600 m wide corridor of hydrothermal alteration located\nalong the northern and eastern sides of the porphyry system, in areas\nhistorically called the Sulfate Zone and the Main Zone. Drill holes CHDD05-08\nand CHDD06-08 were sited in the West Zone, a separate porphyry target which\nlies more than 2 km west of the Main Zone. Assay results for Virgin Metals'\ndrill holes are summarized in Table 1 below:\n\n\nTable 1.
