Change to Board of Directors

Anglo-Welsh Group PLC 12 June 2000 The board of Anglo-Welsh Group plc is pleased to be able to announce that as from 9 June it has appointed Michael Hill as Finance Director to the Company to further strengthen the executive team. Further details concerning Mr Hill will follow shortly. The Board also announces that Stephen Thomson has assumed the role of Executive Chairman, David Court will continue on the Board as a non-executive director.
