(NASDAQ: MPB), has received approval from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to open a new full-service retail branch in Hazle Township, Luzerne County, at 1215 North Church Street. \n Mid Penn expects to open the branch in December 2019 once renovations are completed. This will be the bank’s second location in Luzerne County, in addition to its branch at 641 State Route 93 in Conyngham. “We are pleased to be expanding in the greater Hazleton area by adding a full-service retail location in Hazle Township,” said Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory G.
