[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n1 August 2023\nMichelmersh Brick Holdings Plc\n(\"MBH\", the \"Company\", or the \"Group\")\nAppointment of Chair Designate and Non-Executive Director\nNotice of Results\nMichelmersh Brick Holdings PLC (AIM: MBH), the specialist brick manufacturer, today announces that Martin Warner, Chair, has informed the Board that he will retire at the next AGM in May 2024. Martin will be succeeded by Tony Morris who is currently a Non-Executive Director. The Group also announces that Rob Fenwick will be joining the Company as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.\nMartin was appointed Chair in 2016, having been joint founder and Chief Executive Officer. He has overseen transformational growth over that period supporting the Group on its progressive journey to becoming a leading premium brick manufacturer and brick pre-fabrication specialist across the UK and Belgium. \nTony, who joined the Board in November 2020, brought a wealth of experience in M&A and equity capital markets to the Group, and over the last two and a half years with Michelmersh has added significant construction industry and clay manufacturing sector knowledge, alongside his role as Chair of the Remuneration Committee. \nRobert Raymond Fenwick, aged 63, who joins the Board as a Non-Executive Director, has extensive operational experience, having spent 20 years with Howden Joinery Group plc. Rob was Chief Operating Officer of the supply division at Howdens for 14 years before spending a year as Chief Governance Officer. Rob is a Non-Executive Director of Andrew Marr International Ltd and Kronospan Holdings Ltd.\nMartin Warner, commenting on the changes said:\n\"I am delighted with Tony's appointment as Chair Designate; his expertise and specific Michelmersh experience to date demonstrates that he has the capability and skills for the role.
