The\n \n recommended rail line links to give the\nProject access to tide water, interconnect potential mining\nbeneficiaries, and international markets.\n \n \n WGM\nhas been involved with the Lac Otelnuk Project as one of the authors\nof the historical 2015 Feasibility Study. The aim is to produce a\nconceptual report detailing up to three rail lines connecting the\nproject to potential port sites.\n \n \n \n \n Proposed Conceptual Report for Rail\nLinks, Lac Otelnuk Iron Ore Project\n \n \n \n The report will identify a very high-level estimated range of cost\n for each rail line and, if required, port extension.  Further, WGM\nwill on a best-efforts basis attempt to identify all mining companies\nand their contact information that would benefit from new or expanded\nrail capacity with the purpose being to collectively work at achieving\nimproved infrastructures to the region. WGM’s study will be based on\ngeomorphology, topography, hydrography, and land occupational\n(physical access) only. There is extensive engineering, environmental,\ncommunity consultation, and permitting required to actually plan and\nbuild a rail line which is beyond the scope of the study.
