(TSX.V: MQM; OTCQB: MQMIF) (“MQM” or\n“Company”) is pleased to announce that it\nhas entered into an option agreement dated January 29, 2026 (the\n“Agreement”) with Gallik Explorations Inc. (“Gallik”), a\nwholly owned company of Mr. Troy Gallik, whereby Gallik has provided\nthe Company a due diligence period on the potential acquisition of  a\n100% interest in the West Cameron\nGold Project (the “Project”), located\nin the southern portion of Kenora Mining District, Northwestern\nOntario.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe Agreement provides a due diligence period of 40\ndays at which time the Company will have an additional five (5)\nbusiness days to provide a notice to proceed (the “Notice”) to\nGallik. Upon completion of the Company’s due diligence review and\nthe delivery of the Notice, a subsequent news release will be issued.\nIn the event the Company provides Gallik with Notice, the date of the\nNotice would become the effective date of the Agreement.\n\n\n \n\n\nThis acquisition would\nrepresent MetalQuest’s initial entry into gold exploration and\nforward momentum towards its objective of diversifying its portfolio.\nThe nearby infrastructure associated with the Project includes hydro\npowerlines, highways and all-weather roads, with proximity to towns\nand cities while being within established Canadian mining\ndistricts.\n\n\n \n\n\nChairman and CEO Harry Barr\nstated, “The potential acquisition of West\nCameron Gold Project would mark the formal entry into gold exploration and\nreflects our strategy of building a portfolio of technically strong\nexploration assets in premier Canadian mining jurisdictions.
