("ELN" and "the Company")\n(TSX.V: ELN; Frankfurt: E7Q) is pleased to announce a significant\nCopper/Cobalt discovery on its research permit PR 5214, located in\nsoutheastern Katanga Province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This area\nhas now been dubbed the Kasala project.\n\n\nThe discovery was made during the course of the Company's 10,000 meter\nreverse circulation ("RC") drilling program, when an RC drill hole, MDB-023,\nwas completed in the central northern area of PR 5214.\n\n\nCompany geologists reported the presence of malachite mineralization over\na wide interval in the drill cuttings from this hole. MDB-023 (-45 degrees)\nended at 97 meters due to difficult ground conditions.\n\n\nSamples from MDB-023 were collected using strict quality controls and\nwere then dispatched to ALS Chemex Laboratories in Johannesburg, South Africa\nfor sample preparation and assay. Analytical results received from ALS Chemex\nindicate a 29 meter intersection grading 2.82% Cu between 17 and 46 meters,\nwhich includes an intersection of 4.11% Cu and 0.50% Co between 21 and 26\nmeters.\n\n\nDrill Highlights of Hole MDB-023\nhttp://www.elninoventures.com/i/misc/051008t1.jpg\n\n\nSince the completion of hole MDB-023 an additional 47 holes have been\ndrilled in the Kasala area, nineteen diamond drill holes ("DDH") and\ntwenty-nine Reverse Circulation holes ("RC"). Company geologists report\nvisible malachite mineralization (ranging from weak to very strong over\nvarying thicknesses) in 31 of the 48 holes drilled in this area. The strike\nlength of this discovery stands at approximately 800 meters at present.\nDrilling has been halted for the time being in order for the company to\ncompile and analyze the substantial assay data which is expected to be\nreceived over the next 4 to 6 weeks.
