("ELN" and "the\nCompany") (TSX.V: ELN; Frankfurt: E7Q) is pleased to announce the results from\nan interpretation of geophysical and geochemical data from its Kasala Project\n(P.R. 5214) in the DRC.\n\n\nThe study merged data from the recently completed Induced Polarization\n("IP") survey with soil geochemistry, magnetic data from the 2007 airborne\nprogram and drill hole information from the 2008 drill campaign to produce a\ndetailed compilation of the Kasala Main Zone and surrounding areas.\n\n\nThe interpretation identified a strong positive correlation between\nmagnetic data and soil geochemistry: magnetic highs within the Kasala Main\nZone correspond with high copper-in-soil values from the soil geochemistry\nprogram.\n\n\nCoincident magnetic highs and elevated copper-in-soil values identify a\nsurface expression for the Kasala Main Zone of approximately 1100 metres in\nlength by 100 to 350 metres in width. Drilling conducted in 2008 confirmed a\nmineralized strike length of at least 800 metres and the mineralization is\nopen to the northwest, indicating that the magnetics and soil geochemistry\nprovide a reliable indication of the presence of copper mineralization in the\nKasala project area.\n\n\nBased on this, the study has identified a zone to the east and southeast\nof the Kasala Main Zone with similar magnetic and geochemical signatures which\nthe Company considers to represent a significant target for its planned 2009\ndrill campaign. The surface expression of the zone as identified in the study\nhas a length of approximately 2500 to 2600 metres and ranges between 150 and\n750 metres in width - an area over three times as large as the Kasala Main\nZone. The Company is referring to this new zone as Kasala East. Figure 1 shows\nthe Kasala Main Zone and the newly identified Kasala East Zone.\n\n\nAllan Lines, exploration manager for El Nino Ventures Inc., states that\n"Kasala East is now our highest priority target. The similarity of the\nmagnetics and the soil geochemistry with that of the Kasala Main Zone is\nencouraging, particularly as we attribute the magnetic signature of Kasala\nMain to well mineralized iron stones of the Mwashya Group - the Kasala East\nzone looks like a bigger, broader version of the Kasala Main Zone.
