[{"type":"text","content":"\nAppointments to Corporate Advisory Council\n\n\n Aug. 11, 2010 (Filing Services Canada) -- Coltstar Ventures Inc.  (CTR - TSX Venture), (\"Coltstar\") announces that it has appointed four distinguished individuals to its Corporate Advisory Council.  Their broad expertise and counsel will add materially to Coltstar's endeavours.  JAMES BECKEMr. Becke was a Founding Director of Macquarie Bank Ltd until his retirement.  He was also Founding Director of Austraclear Ltd, and previously a Director of Capital Markets at Dresdner International Financial Markets (Australia) Ltd.Mr. Becke has 35 years experience in all facets of the global capital markets including more than 10 years international experience in the financing of natural resource companies. DR LI WEITIANDr. Li is a highly respected geologist and geochemist with extensive mineral exploration and development experience, with knowledge of prospecting and processing of iron ore.  He has developed several novel mineral processing techniques enabling the economical utilisation of refractory ores.  Dr. Li obtained his PhD in Processing Mineralogy from the China University of Geosciences, Beijing and has been a Visiting Scholar (Hydrometallurgy) at the University of Arizona, USA.In addition to holding the position of Deputy Director of the Geological Survey of Guangxi Province, China (2002-2008) he has been instrumental in negotiating contracts between the GSG and a number of foreign mining companies.  He has worked closely with State Owned mining enterprises and conducted technical due diligence on foreign acquisition targets for them.   R. DESMOND McVEIGHMr. McVeigh is an international banker with over 35 years experience spanning a career in merchant banking, corporate finance, energy, project finance and capital markets working with institutions such as Citibank, Saudi International Bank and Lloyds Merchant Bank.  In the mid 1990's he was recruited by the U.K. Government and appointed Chief Executive of the Industrial Development Board for Northern Ireland (IDB).  During his tenure as Chief Executive of the IDB Mr. McVeigh developed substantial contacts in China, Korea and South East Asia and is an Official Advisor to the Chinese Government in Jilin Province, Northern China.JAM...
