About this update from Metalex Ventures Ltd.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nKELOWNA, BC, March 29 /CNW/ - Metalex Ventures Ltd (MTX - TSX Venture\nExchange) ("Metalex" or the "Company").\n\n\nAwsserd Metal Results\n\n\nThe Company is pleased to announce metal results from reconnaissance\nsamples collected over its Awsserd exploration license in Morocco. A total of\n696 samples were collected over the 11,293 km(2) license area.\n\n\nThese results have identified numerous sites anomalous in various\nsympathetic element associations. Sympathetic elements are important as these\nassociations are commonly found in economic mineral deposits. The anomalous\nsamples are summarized in the following table:\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nAnomalous Elements Number of Anomalous Samples\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nNickel + Copper +/- Cobalt +/- Zinc 8\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nCopper +/- Cobalt 4\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nZinc +/- Nickel +/- Lead 15\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nLead 1\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nGold 10\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nUranium 3\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n\nThese anomalies are in addition to those located on the 13,514 km(2)\nTichla exploration license announced in a news release on June 27, 2006. 232\nfollow-up samples for base and precious metals have been collected on the\nTichla license and are currently being processed at the CF Mineral Research\nLtd laboratory.\n\n\nAwsserd Diamond Samples\n\n\n640 samples have been collected from the Awsserd license to follow-up the\nhigh priority diamond indicator minerals found in the reconnaissance sampling.\nThe reconnaissance samples outlined what appears to be an area of previously\nundiscovered kimberlites. The kimberlites potentially have high diamond grade\nas evidenced by one of the reconnaissance samples containing three G10 garnets\nincluding a very high quality G10-9 (see press release dated June 27, 2006).\n\n\nMetalex is most encouraged by the potential of both the diamond and metal\nresults as they occur in Archaean rocks...
