KELOWNA, BC, June 4 /CNW/ - Cantex Mine Development Corp. (CD : TSX Venture Exchange) is pleased to announce the progress on its Al Hariqah gold project.
At Al Hariqah two drills continue to work on the 77 hole program. To date about 4,000 meters from 41 holes have been completed on this program. This brings the number of holes completed on the project to 124 totaling in excess of 12,500 meters.
The shipment of 1,148 percussion samples from the first 20 holes of the latest drill program along with diamond drill core has been received by ALS Chemex in Vancouver. The percussion samples are being processed and assayed for gold. The core samples have been shipped to CF Mineral Research Ltd. in Kelowna where they will be logged and sampled in preparation for assay for gold at ALS Chemex.
Management looks forward to receiving the assay results from the drill samples in the near future. These and subsequent results will be needed to complete a prefeasibility study on Al Hariqah for mid 2010.
