(TSX VENTURE: MDV) and Amador Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: AGX).\nMegastar Development Corp. (TSX VENTURE: MDV) recently entered into a $4-million joint venture agreement on their Simkar gold project, located approximately 20 kilometres east of Val d'Or, Que. The project, a former gold producer, consists of two contiguous mining concessions in Louvicourt township, covering 225.63 hectares. Megastar’s partner now can earn a 50-per-cent interest in the project by completing a three-year $4-million commitment in exploration work on the project as well as providing Megastar a combination of cash and shares. There are a number of targets already generated on the project, including new zones in close proximity to the existing workings, as well as a deep-seated geophysical anomaly that could represent a VMS base metal mineralization.\nDusan Berka, president of Megastar Development, told Smartstox much more about the Simkar project and their other prospective properties in our Smartstox interview available at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/mdv.\nAmador Gold Corp. The samples were taken approximately 950 meters southeast of the newly discovered high-grade RHB Zone. Amador had just announced that three grab samples collected from the RHB Zone had returned values of 60.68 g/t gold, 23.9 g/t silver and 0.47% copper; 54.51 g/t gold, 28.1 g/t silver, and 0.53% copper; and 18.82 g/t gold; samples collected earlier in the summer assayed as high as 75.0 g/t gold.\nThe Horwood Project is located along a splay off of the productive Destor-Porcupine Fault. \nSmartstox host Stanlie Hunt talked with Amador Gold’s president, Richard Hughes, about their suite of projects, including Horwood, that are all in established mining camps and emerging mineral districts of Canada.
