Between 2013 to 2023, Mary held a number of senior roles at Northrop Grumman, most recently as Corporate Vice President and President of Defence Systems. In this role, she oversaw operational execution, financial performance, and strategy development across a broad defence portfolio, driving business growth in both US and global markets. Prior to this, she held a number of senior executive roles at Singer-Link, Hughes Aircraft, and Raytheon.\nAs a non-executive, Mary has significant public company experience. She is currently serving as Non-executive Director at Karman Space & Defense, a concept-to-production provider for complex space and defence missions, and Woodward, Inc., a leader in energy conversion and control solutions, and has been in these roles since 2025 and 2023 respectively. Mary is also a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for Ericsson Federal Technologies Group, and is serving as Non-executive Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee for Saab, Inc.\nMary holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.\nChris Grigg, Chair of Melrose, said: \"We are delighted to welcome Mary to the Board today.
