Announces Closing of the Second Tranche of a Private Placement for $142,500\nOttawa, Ontario CANADA, July 09, 2012 /FSC/ - Melkior Resources Inc.  (MKR - TSX Venture), (\"Melkior\") is pleased to announce that it has completed the closing of the second tranche of a private placement (see the June 29, 2012 press release) for aggregate proceeds of $142,500 consisting of the issuance of 712,500 units at a price of $0.20 per unit. Each unit is comprised of one flow-through common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles its holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.25 for a period of 12 months following the closing. \nThe securities issued under the private placement are subject to a four (4) month hold period ending November 10, 2012. In conjunction with the private placement, Melkior paid cash commissions totalling $8,550.
