(\"\n \n Melkior\n \n \" or the \"\n \n Company\n \n \") (TSXV:MKR) (OTC:MKRIF) is pleased to announce\nthrough the strategic partnership with Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd\n(operator) the commencement of a 3,800 meter drill program on its\nCarscallen Project located approximately 25 kilometers west of Timmins\nOntario and approximately 6 kilometers west of Pan American Silver's\nWest Timmins Mine.\n \n \n Jonathon Deluce, CEO of Melkior, remarks, \"We are very excited\nfor this first phase of exploration by Kirkland Lake Gold at our\nCarscallen project where past work has identified high grade gold in\nmultiple locations including the Zam Zam Zone, Shenkman Zone, 1010\nZone, Jowsey Zone, and Behemoth Zones. The planned program which\nincludes drilling along strike and to depth of the Zam - Zam-Shenkman\nTrend provides a very exciting target and we are optimistic that the\nnew drilling will continue to extend the strike length and prove\ncontinuity amongst the high-grade veins encountered to date.\"\n \n \n The new drill program will focus on the 800 m long northwesterly\ntrending Zam Zam - Shenkman Trend which has already been partially\ndefined by past drilling and produced multiple high-grade intercepts\nof gold. A key part of the program will involve a series of holes to\nfollow up on the gold intercepts encountered in the preceding fall,\nwinter and spring drill programs. Intersection highlights from these\nprograms include CAR-19-03A with\n \n 23.5\ng/t Au over 8.0 meters\n \n 430 meters vertically below surface\n(November 28, 2019 press release) and CAR-20-05 with\n \n 25.7 g/t Au over 6.0 meters\n \n 350\nmeters below surface (May 7, 2020 press release) from the south edge\nof the Shenkman zone as well as CAR-20-06 which includes\n \n 5.68 g/t Au and 6.4 g/t Ag over\n9.5m\n \n , including 67.9 g/t Au, 79.8 g/t Ag and 0.62 % Cu over\n0.5m from an area 260m to the south of the Shenkman Zone.\n \n \n The key objectives for the drilling are to test the gold system both\nfor sustained grades at depth and for continuity up-dip and\nnorthwest-southeast along strike of previous encouraging drill\nr...
