Melkior Announces Amendments to Private Placement Offering

Ottawa, Ontario CANADA, November 23, 2011 /FSC/ - Melkior Resources Inc.  (MKR - TSX Venture), ("Melkior") announces amendments to the terms of its previously announced private placement offering (the "Offering"). Melkior has increased the size of the Offering by up to an additional $100,000 and the units that were initially to be issued at a price of $0.125 per unit have been re-priced at $0.10 per unit. All other terms of the Offering remain the same, see press release of Melkior dated November 8, 2011. The total Offering will now be for up to 6,000,000 units.

The proceeds from the Offering will be used by Melkior to finance exploration expenditures on its properties located in the Province of Ontario. The majority of the funds will be allocated to the following projects: Carscallen (West Timmins), Long Lac, Henderson and Shaw in Ontario.

The Offering is subject to regulatory approval.
