Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Life Sciences for the\nSociete Generale de Financement (SGF) du Quebec, a government-owned investment\nentity contributing to the development of life sciences both locally and\ninternationally. Prior to SGF, Mr. Archimbaud was the President and Chief\nExecutive Officer of Vancouver-based Kinetek Pharmaceuticals Inc., a biotech\nstart-up recognized for its expertise in the field of molecular biology\napplied to oncology. Mr. Archimbaud also held progressively senior roles in\nsales, marketing, business development and licensing in his 20 years with\nIpsen Beaufour, a European pharmaceutical company.\n\n\nMr. Archimbaud takes the place of Mr. David Harris, who resigned from\nMedMira's Board of Directors after serving a two year term as a Director.\n\n\n"The Board thanks Mr. Harris for his contribution to MedMira during his\ntenure as a Board member," said Dr. Smith.\n\n\nAbout MedMira\n\n\nMedMira is a leading developer and manufacturer of flow-through rapid\ndiagnostics.
