(\"Medicure\" or the \"Company\") (TSXV: MPH) (OTC: MCUJF), a cardiovascular pharmaceutical company, is pleased to announce the early completion of iSPASM, a randomized, double-blind, single-center, Phase 1/2a trial aimed at assessing the safety of long-term (7-day) use of AGGRASTAT\n \n ®\n \n (tirofiban hydrochloride) injection (an intravenous GP IIb/IIIa inhibitor) vs. placebo in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) (\n \n NCT03691727\n \n ). The primary endpoint in the 30 patient study was hemorrhagic changes evident on head CT and/or MRI assessed by the rates of symptomatic and asymptomatic bleeding.\n \n \n \"Medicure is gratified and encouraged by the results of the trial led Dr.\n \n David Hasan\n \n , MD, Professor of Neurosurgery at\n \n University of Iowa\n \n Hospitals and Clinics, and the trial's principal investigator.
