[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nEDMONTON, June 13, 2014 /CNW/ - McCoy Corporation (\"McCoy\", \"McCoy Global\" or \"the Corporation\") (TSX:MCB; OTCQX:MCCRF),\n a provider of innovative products and services for the global energy\n industry, today announced that Kerry Brown has stepped down as Chairman\n of the Board of Directors and that it has appointed Chris Seaver as its\n new Chairman, effective immediately.\n\n\n\"Mr. Seaver has imparted valuable industry knowledge and demonstrated\n strong leadership skills since joining McCoy's Board of Directors more\n than three years ago,\" said Jim Rakievich, President and CEO of McCoy.\n \"Mr. Seaver's appointment to role of Chairman is fitting as McCoy\n transitions to a pure play provider of innovative products and services\n for the global energy. McCoy will benefit from his experience and\n leadership as we continue to execute on our international expansion\n strategy and bring advanced tubular products to market.\"\n\n\nMr. Seaver was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hydril\n Company, an oil service company which specialized in premium\n connections for casing and tubing, blowout preventers and related\n equipment, from 1993 to 2007 and 1997 to 2007, respectively. Residing\n in Calgary, Alberta, he is also a director of Oil States International,\n Inc. and Exterran Holdings, Inc., both NYSE-listed companies based out\n of Houston, Texas. Mr. Seaver holds a Master of Business Administration\n and Juris Doctorate from Stanford University.\n\n\nThe Board of Directors wishes to thank Mr. Brown for providing 19 years\n of successful guidance throughout McCoy's growth and evolution,\n including guiding McCoy along the path of becoming a pure play energy\n product and services company.
