Total Voting Rights

In accordance with Rule 5.6.1 of the Financial Conduct Authority's (the 'FCA') Disclosure and Transparency Rules (the 'DTRs'), McBride plc (the 'Company') confirms that, as at the date of this announcement: (i) the total number of issued ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') is 178,559,903 (including 42,041 Ordinary Shares held in treasury); and (ii) the total number of issued non-cumulative redeemable preference shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ('B Shares') is 665,888,258. B Shares carry no rights to attend, speak or vote at Company meetings, except on a resolution relating to the winding up of the Company.   

Consequently, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights is 178,517,862 and shareholders in the Company may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's DTRs.
