It gives us a direct opportunity to give back.”Nasaru, Inc. is holding a 6 performance concert series to raise awareness of the problems faced by persons of few means at home and abroad. In cooperation with Austin High School Music students this performance showcase will feature the talents of seasoned musicians as well as those of a younger generation. Special guest Artists will perform to promote awareness of Nasaru, Inc.’s mission for the Nakifuma Secondary School in Uganda, East Africa. Public recognition of your role in sponsoring this event is only one of the rewards we promise. Another reward will be the pleasure you will get if you attend the concert series, enjoy the music, and witness a local program designed to help ourselves build community as we help others to survive. And perhaps the greatest reward will be the knowledge that you will have played a crucial role in bringing about a concert in Austin whose aim is to generate funding for a very specific project; Nasaru’s current short term goal: funding and participating in the expansion of the dormitory of Nakifuma Secondary School, incorporating rain water collection and filtration systems in the construction. Nakifuma School is located halfway across the world, where few Americans go and few care. It is a school for orphans and other disadvantaged children, a few miles outside of Kampala, Uganda.
