About this update from Maxus Realty Trust, Inc.
[{"type":"text","content":"October 21, 2010 Change in Maxus Realty Trust, Inc.’s Certifying Accountant On October 21, 2010, the audit committee of Maxus Realty Trust, Inc. (the “Trust”), dismissed Frazer Frost LLP (“Frazer Frost”) as the Trust’s independent registered public accounting firm. The Trust dismissed Frazer Frost due to the Trust’s receipt of a lower competitive bid from the local national firm of Mayer Hoffman and McCann, P.C. The reports of Frazer Frost on the Trust’s financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2009 and December 31, 2008 did not contain an adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, and were not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope, or accounting principles. In connection with the audit of the Trust’s financial statements for each of the two fiscal years ended December 31, 2009 and December 31, 2008 and through October 21, 2010, there have been no disagreements with Frazer Frost on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure, which if not resolved to the satisfaction of Frazer Frost would have caused it to make reference to the subject matter of the disagreement in connection with its reports.
