(the “Company” or\n“Surge”) (TSXV:NILI\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:NILIF\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n FRA:DJ5C\n \n \n \n \n ) is pleased to present geological information from the\nlogging of drill holes NN2207 and NN2008 while the Company awaits\nfinal assays from drilling at the 100% owned Nevada North Lithium\nProject in Elko County, Nevada.\n \n \n \n \n Previously released assay results (refer to\n \n \n \n \n News Release dated Dec.\n8'22\n \n \n \n \n ) confirmed the presence of\nsignificant lithium values contained within layered zones of claystone\nand blue-grey clay in drill holes NN2201 thru NN2006 (see plan map).\nThe Company believes this demonstrates the potential for a high tenor\nlithium clay deposit.\n \n \n \n \n While assays are yet to be received from the lab, the\nsame claystone unit and blue-grey clay was intersected in holes NN2207\nand NN2208,\n \n \n some\n \n \n 790 and 1130 meters south and\nsouth-southeast of the discovery hole NN2201.\n \n \n \n \n Hole NN2207\n \n \n cut\na much thicker section of the favorable claystone than was encountered\nin holes NN2201, NN2203, 04, and 05.  Hole NN2207\n \n \n cut\n \n \n 114.3 meters (375\nfeet) of claystone\n \n \n compared to the average of\n45.7 meters (150 feet).  Visually, the claystone and especially the\nblue-grey clay beds within the package are identical to those carrying\nhigh grade lithium.\n \n \n \n \n Hole NN2208\n \n \n was\nsituated on anomalous soil geochemistry about\n \n \n 354 meters south-southwest of NN2207.\n \n \n This hole cut\n \n \n 73.15 meters (240 feet) of the favorable\nclaystone,\n \n \n still well above the average for the\nfour holes to the north-northeast. The hole was cut at 300 feet due to\ntime and budget constraints and did not penetrate to the basement\nwelded tuff.\n \n \n \n \n The potential for lithium values within both drill\nholes is supported by the soil geochemistry collected along the slope\nexposure of the claystone south of NN2207.
