(the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ” or\n“\n \n \n Surge\n \n \n ”) (TSXV:NILI\n \n \n )\n \n \n ,\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:NILIF\n \n \n )\n \n \n ,\n \n \n (\n \n \n FRA: DJ5C) is pleased to announce signing a contract with BGC\nEngineering of Calgary, Alberta, to further delineate the potential\nresource at the Nevada North Lithium Project (NNLP).  BGC Engineering\n(BGC) is an international consulting firm that provides professional\nservices in applied earth sciences.\n \n \n \n \n Surge Battery Metals has been conducting exploration\nactivities at the NNLP with promising results. The Company is moving\nto further delineate the lithium clays using geophysics to better\nunderstand the resource. BGC has been retained to perform the\nfollowing scope of work this week:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Towed Transient Electromagnetic (tTEM) survey. tTEM is\na mobile ground-based transient system used for rapidly mapping\nsubsurface electrical conductivities over large areas. BGC, on behalf\nof Surge, will use this method in road accessible areas of the NNLP to\ncollect as much as 40 line-kms of data.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) surveys. ERT is\na geoelectric technique which can be used to profile subsurface\nresistivity. This will allow Surge to target, with upcoming drilling,\nthe thickness of the primary lithium-enriched clay, and the additional\ndeeper clay-altered tuff layers identified in the 2022 drilling\ncampaign.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n With this data, Surge will refine and expand the\npotential mineralization footprint for targeting the upcoming drill\nprogram core holes.\n \n \n \n \n Mr. Greg Reimer, Chief Executive\nOfficer, and Director\n \n \n commented “Spring has\narrived in northern Nevada and our team is excited to start the\nexploration season following our lithium discovery.  This week’s\ngeophysical surveying campaign will provide indications of both the\nlateral and vertical dimensions of the lithium-bearing clay horizons\nidentified fr...
