[{"type":"text","content":"Surge Battery Metals Announces Successful Completion of its Phase 1 Exploration Program on the HN4 Nickel Project located in Northern British Columbia\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n July 5, 2022 –\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n Vancouver, BC;\n \n \n Surge Battery Metals Inc.\n \n \n (the “Company” or “Surge”) (TSXV:NILI\n \n \n )\n \n \n ,\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:NILIF\n \n \n )\n \n \n ,\n \n \n (\n \n \n FRA:DJ5C),\n \n \n Mr. Greg Reimer, President, is pleased to announce that the\nfirst stage of a planned CAD$480,000 detailed geological mapping, soil\nand rock sampling survey on its 80% owned Nickel Project has been\ncompleted.  Here, the Surge geological team has collected\napproximately 600 soil and 190 rock samples from the HN4 mineral claim\nadjoining the southwest portion of the Decar Nickel Project of FPX\nNickel Corp.\n \n \n \n \n Once the snow has melted in the higher elevations of\nthe N100 claim block (+21,00 acres) over the next few weeks, the\nexploration program is planned to continue.\n \n \n \n \n An eight-person exploration team was onsite at HN4\nclaim group for approximately 17 days, operating out of the Surge\nexploration field camp using primarily road access to undertake both\nfollow up and reconnaissance soil and rock sampling.  The focus of\nthis effort\n \n \n was on the known western magnetic\nanomaly where previous grab samples have returned up\n \n \n to 2631 ppm (0.26%) Ni\n \n \n . A secondary exploration target to the northeastern magnetic\nanomaly is partially within the claim group, and previously returned\nup\n \n \n to 1795 ppm (0.179%)\nNi\n \n \n . The third and final exploration target is a\ndefined magnetic low anomaly, which has potential for listwanite\nhosted gold mineralization and has been identified as structurally\nimportant by the Surge geological team.\n \n \n \n \n The budget for this first stage of the 2022 exploration\nprogram is approximately CAD$240,000. Samples are being prepared for\nsubmission to the assay lab by the end of June, with results expected\nfor ICP analysis in 4-5 weeks and the DTR (“Davis Tube Recovery”\nis a magnetic separation technique) to follow within another 3-4 weeks\npost ICP analysis.
