ShawCor Names New Chair & Vice Chair And Reports Voting Results from Annual General Meeting

(TSX: SCL) announced today\n that its Board of Directors had appointed independent director John F.\n (Jack) Petch as its new Chair of the Board.  Mr. Petch joined the\n ShawCor Board in 2005 and has previously served as its Lead Director,\n Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee and Chair of the Special\n Committee which was constituted in the fall of 2012 in connection with\n ShawCor's strategic review process.\n\n\nAnother independent director, Robert J. Ritchie, has been appointed Vice\n Chair of the Board.  Mr. Ritchie joined the ShawCor Board in 1994,\n previously served as the Chair of its Audit Committee and currently\n serves as the Chair of its Compensation Committee, a role he will\n continue.\n\n\nShawCor also announced today, in accordance with Toronto Stock Exchange\n requirements, the voting results from its Annual General Meeting held\n May 16, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario.\n\n\nA total of 49,220,908 common shares were voted at the meeting,\n representing 83.04% of the votes attached to all outstanding shares. \n Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business before the\n meeting, including the election of all director nominees as follows:\n\n\n\n\n\nDirector  \n\n\n \n\n\nPercentage of Votes in Favour\n\n \n \n \n\nJ.T.
