(TSX: SCL.SV.A, SCL.MV.B) today\nannounced that its subsidiary, Bredero Shaw Middle East Ltd., has been awarded\na Letter of Intent with a value of approximately US$44 million to provide\noffshore pipe coating services for the KOC Crude Oil Export Facilities Project\nin Kuwait. The offshore pipelines consist of a 73 kilometer large diameter\npipeline coated with coal tar enamel and concrete and an 18 kilometer pipeline\nconcrete coated after pipe in pipe and polyurethane foam insulation. Clients\nserved on the pipeline projects include Kuwait Oil Company and Hyundai Heavy\nIndustries Co. Ltd. The pipe will be coated at Bredero Shaw's pipe coating\nfacility in Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E., commencing in June 2006.\nThe Crude Oil Export Facilities Project, with a crude oil production and\nexport capability of 3 million barrels per day, is one of the largest projects\nin the Kuwait energy sector and the Gulf area.
