(TSX: SCL.A, SCL.B) today announced\nits subsidiary, Shaw Pipe Protection Ltd., has received contracts with a value\nin excess of $40 million for coating associated with two new Enbridge pipeline\nprojects, Southern Access and Southern Lights. The coating will take place at\nthe company's Regina pipe coating facility with completion of the Southern\nAccess portion of the work scheduled for the second quarter of 2008 and\ncompletion of the Southern Lights portion of the work scheduled for the first\nquarter of 2009.\n\n\nCoating for the next stages of Enbridge's Southern Access project will\nconsist of approximately 230 km of 42" and approximately 275 km of 36" pipe.\nEach will be coated with fusion bonded epoxy anticorrosion coating.\n\n\nThe Southern Lights' project will require coating for approximately 700\nkm of 20" pipe and will similarly utilize fusion bonded epoxy anticorrosion\ncoating.\n\n\nShawCor Ltd. is an energy services company specializing in products and\nservices for the pipeline and pipe services and the petrochemical and\nindustrial segments of the oil and gas industry.
