(TSX: SCL.A, SCL.B) today announced\nthat Bredero Shaw, through its joint venture Bredero Shaw Revestimentos de\nTubos Ltda., has received a contract with a value in excess of US$25 million\nfrom V&M do Brasil to undertake the anti-corrosion and flow assurance coating\nrequirements for Shell's BC-10 deepwater offshore oil pipeline project.\nCoating will commence during the third quarter of 2007 at the company's\nfacility located adjacent to the V&M do Brasil seamless pipe mill in Belo\nHorizonte, Brazil.\n\n\nThis pipeline project will consist of approximately 81 kms of 6, 8, 10\nand 12 inch diameter pipe that will be coated with a Syntactic Polypropylene\nflow assurance insulation coating and 64 kms of 6 and 8 inch diameter pipe\nthat will be coated with 3 Layer Polyethylene and Fusion Bonded Epoxy\nanticorrosion coatings. The pipelines will be located in the Campos Basin,\napproximately 120 km from the city of Vitoria and will be installed in water\ndepths up to 2000 meters. When in full production, the FPSO that will be used\nin the project will be able to process up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day.\n\n\nBredero Shaw has played a major role in the provision of pipeline\ncoatings for oil and gas projects around the world for over 75 years.
