(Nasdaq:MKTX), the operator of a leading electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities, and the provider of market data and post-trade services for the global fixed-income markets, today announced total monthly trading volume for March 2019 of $182.7 billion, consisting of $96.8 billion in U.S. high-grade volume, $81.8 billion in other credit volume, and $4.0 billion in liquid products volume.Record fully electronic monthly trading volume was achieved in March 2019 for the following categories:Overall trading volume of $182.7 billionU.S. high-grade trading volume of $96.8 billionEmerging markets average daily trading volume of $1.9 billion and overall trading volume of $40.5 billionEurobonds average daily trading volume of $1.1 billion and overall trading volume of $23.1 billionMarch 29, 2019 also marked a record day with overall trading volume of $18.3 billion with emerging markets and Eurobonds setting daily records.
