( \"Maritime Resources\") (TSXV: MAE) are pleased to announce that they have closed their previously announced transaction whereby New Found Gold has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Maritime Resources (the \"Maritime Shares\"), that it does not already own, by way of a statutory plan of arrangement pursuant to Division 5 of Part 9 of the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) (the \"Transaction\").In connection with the completion of the Transaction, Allen Palmiere joined the board of directors of New Found Gold (the \"Board\") and Melissa Render, President of New Found Gold resigned from the Board. All the directors and officers of Maritime Resources resigned from their positions.
