As sales forecasts for the next couple years also appear promising,\nMaple Leaf has decided to build a second greenhouse adjacent to its first. A\npreliminary feasibility study has been conducted by a well known greenhouse\nconstruction company in Beijing. The second greenhouse, which will be 150,000\nsq ft, will be 4,000 sq ft larger than the first greenhouse and will have the\ncapacity to cultivate 8.5 million seedlings at one time. The total cost of\nconstructing the greenhouse should be around $1 million (Canadian). With this\naddition, Maple Leaf will more than double its production capacity for growing\nseedlings, improve the efficiency of its operations and significantly reduce\nproduction costs, consequently making Maple Leaf's seedlings more competitive.\n\n\nMaple Leaf's management is very excited about construction of the new\ngreenhouse, and a more detailed plan is presently being prepared. Once funding\nfor the new greenhouse is secured, work can be started. It is expected that\nthe duration of the construction will be 2 to 3 months, in time for the 2008\nspring cultivation.\n\n\nMaple Leaf's primary mission is to provide top quality, value added\nnursery seedlings and modern Canadian tree growing technology to assist China\nin solving its desertification problems. Maple Leaf currently has over\n6,000,000 various types of seedlings under cultivation in our 110,000 square\nfoot greenhouse.\n\n\nThe TSX Venture Exchange does not accept responsibility for the adequacy\n\n\nor accuracy of this release.\n\n\nCertain statements in this news release including (i) statements that may\ncontain words such as "anticipate", "could", "expect", "seek", "may" "intend",\n"will", "believe", "should", "project", "forecast", "plan" and similar\nexpressions, including the negatives thereof, (ii) statements that are based\non current expectations and estimates about the markets in which Maple Leaf\noperates and ...
