(TSX Venture - MPE)\n("Maple Leaf" or the "Company") today announced that it has selected Global\nInvestor GbR ("Global"), as the Company's investor relations representative in\nGermany. Global will provide investor relations services to the European\naudience for a sixty day term. Maple Leaf will pay $27,500.00 USD for the\nprogram. The engagement of Global is subject to final approval by the\nTSX Venture Exchange.\n\n\nThe investor relations program will focus on shareholder communications\nand building Maple Leaf an active following of investment specialists across\nGermany. More specifically, Global will prepare an internal research report on\nMaple Leaf and will also arrange for the preparation of an independent,\nexternal research report (the cost of which is included in the payment to\nGlobal). Both of these reports will be disseminated to more than\n450,000 investors through Global's databases.\n\n\nRaymond Lai, Chairman, President & CEO of Maple Leaf sees the\ncommencement of investor relations efforts in Germany as a significant step\nforward for the Company. Mr. Lai comments, "European investors are very active\nin terms of supporting renewal resource projects. Our Xinjiang Yellowhorn Tree\nProject is something that should be very exciting to European investors,\nespecially those in Germany which is the world's largest producer and consumer\nof bio-diesel.
