[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nCALGARY, July 27 /CNW/ - BlackRock Ventures Inc. confirmed today that\nbitumen processing has resumed at its Seal facility, approximately 80 km\nnortheast of Peace River, Alberta.\nThe processing facilities were shut in on June 30, 2006 after a fire\ndamaged a significant portion of the oil battery.\nProcessing was re-started through the undamaged battery portion on\nJuly 24 and the facility is currently producing approximately 8,000 barrels of\nbitumen per day, of which approximately 4,000 barrels per day are BlackRock\nvolumes. The Seal facility has a design capacity of 23,000 barrels per day.\nRepairs to the balance of the facility continue. The Company is\ninvestigating the cause of the fire.\n\nBlackRock Ventures Inc. is an oil sands producer with operations located\nexclusively in Canada.
