(TSX:BVI)\ntendered to its offer and that the offer would be extended until 1:01 a.m.\n(Calgary time) on June 27, 2006 to enable BlackRock shareholders to tender\ntheir common shares, including shares issuable on the conversion of the\nconvertible debentures, to the offer.\nIn connection with the acquisition of control of BlackRock by BR Oil\nSands Corporation, today BlackRock announced that John L. Festival, C. Bruce\nBurton, Victor Luhowy, Kent J. MacIntyre, Seymour Schulich and Kenneth F.\nWilliamson resigned as directors of BlackRock and were replaced by Clive\nMather, Cathy L. Williams, Brian E. Straub, Karen Madro and Shannon L.\nCosmescu.\nBlackRock also announced today the appointments of Brian E. Straub as\nPresident, Cathy L. Williams as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer,\nKaren Madro as Vice President, Operations, Matt Haney as Treasurer, Darlene\nHarris and Leslie Fiegenwald, each as Assistant Treasurers, John T.D.\nCourtright as Secretary and Shannon L.
