[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n21 June 2024\nM&C SAATCHI PLC\n(the \"Company\" or \"M&C Saatchi\")\nAppointment of Chief Financial Officer\nM&C Saatchi announces that, as part of a managed succession process, Simon Fuller will join the Company as Chief Financial Officer (\"CFO\") and as a member of the Board on 1 July 2024. Bruce Marson, Chief Financial Officer, will step down from the Board on 30 June 2024 and will revert to the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer.\nSimon is an experienced CFO, having held several executive and senior management roles across a range of UK listed companies. His former positions include CFO of Reach plc and McColl's Retail Group plc. He has also held senior managerial roles in the finance functions of Tesco plc, BT Group plc and COLT Telecom plc. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001.\nThe Board thanks Bruce Marson for the key role he has played in the transformation of M&C Saatchi since he joined the Company in October 2021, stepping up to CFO in March 2023.\nZillah Byng-Thorne, Non-Executive Chair, commented:\n\"Simon joins us with a distinguished career of over 20 years of listed company experience and deep operational and strategic expertise.
