[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 5897V AEC Education plc 14 July 2009 \n \n\nAEC Education plc\n\n('AEC' or 'the Company')\n\nSecondary Placing and Notice of Interest\n\nFollowing the placing of shares announced on 16 March, 2009, the Company is pleased to report that it has placed an additional 3,632,689 new ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at 12p per share (the 'Placing') to raise approximately £435,900. \n\nApplication has been made for 3,632,689 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 17 July, 2009 ('Admission'). On Admission, the Company will have 42,724,835 Ordinary Shares in issue.\n\nPursuant to the Placing, KSP Investments Pte Ltd acquired 3,232,689 Ordinary Shares and now holds 11,035,037 Ordinary Shares which represents 25.83 per cent. of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company.
