[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 0787D AEC Education plc 09 September 2008 \n\n\nAEC Education PLC (' the Company')\n\nAnnouncement\n\nAEC Edu Group Pte Ltd (AEC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, owns 30% of the equity in IMS Professional Training Services Sdn Bhd (IMS) which is incorporated in Malaysia. IMS has increased its paid-up capital from RM1M (£164,000) to RM1,432,233 (£234,885) by way of a rights issue. AEC has taken up its rights in this issue in proportion to its 30% shareholding. The value of the new shares obtained by the Company is RM129,670 (£21,265).
