(TSX: MT), a\nglobal developer, manufacturer and marketer of high-performance hardware and\nsoftware for the television broadcast industry, announced today the\nappointments of Mr. Richard Brice as President, Asia, and Mr. Darin Crosby as\nManaging Director, Europe, Middle-East and Africa. These appointments are\neffective June 1st 2006. Both appointees will report to Miranda's President\nand Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Strath Goodship.\nOperating from Hong Kong, Mr. Brice will be responsible for all of\nMiranda's operations in the Asian market, where the company realized 12% of\nits sales last year. \"We are determined to take full advantage of the growing\nopportunities that this market offers,\" said Mr. Goodship. \"As our European\nManaging Director for the past five years, Richard has given considerable\nmomentum to our European operations and I am confident that his experience and\ndrive will help us grow our business in Asia,\" he added. Richard Brice has\nbeen a member of Miranda's management team since April 2001, when the Company\nacquired Oxtel plc (UK), where he was Head of Sales and Marketing. Prior to\nthat, Mr. Brice worked as an electronics engineer in the R&D departments of\nmajor international broadcast equipment firms.\nAlso, following Miranda's recent acquisition of VertigoXmedia, Mr. Darin\nCrosby, formerly President of VertigoXmedia's Broadcast Division, will take\nover Mr. Brice's responsibilities as Managing Director for Miranda's\noperations in Europe, Middle-East and Africa, as well as the development of\nMiranda's Playout and Graphics products. He will be based at Miranda's\nEuropean headquarters in Wallingford, in the UK. \"Darin's extensive management\nand sales experience will help us continue to grow our European business and\nensure that we maintain our leadership position in our Playout and Graphics\nproduct lines,\" commented Mr. Goodship.
