(BDM) and flu outbreak forecaster Ascel Bio Inc. (Ascel Bio) are pleased to announce the companies have entered into a definitive Mobile Application Development and Content License Agreement. \n The mobile application to be developed pursuant to the agreement will produce a flu map, a zika virus map, and other fully-automated forecasts of infectious diseases in the USA.  The application covers flu activity by zip code, mosquito diseases, tick diseases, food poisoning, water borne diseases, and common STDs.  The application will be capable of generating alerts to aid flu prevention.  This disease forecasting and outbreak warning application addresses the U.S. $120 billion a year costs of infectious disease that impact national security, the general economy, and health care system.   During the 2017-2018 flu season the U.S. experienced a particularly virulent flu strain, H3N2 that resulted in Americans being hospitalized for the illness at a rate of 59.9 per 100,000 people.  The Mobile Application will be available on both Apple iOS and Google Android platforms.  The application will provide advertising from 3rd parties, sell products through affiliate links, and offer subscriptions or premium content for a fee payable through the application.  BDM will own the mobile application, Ascel Bio owns the content and data feeds and both Companies will share equally in the revenue from the Mobile Application.  The application is available at: www.diseasecast.com/map.
