[{"type":"text","content":"Jameson Cell Technology Shows Promise in Improving Base and Precious Metals Recoveries at Luca’s Campo Morado Mine\n \n \n (NewsDirect)\n \n \n Luca Mining Corporation (the\n“\n \n Company\n \n ” or “\n \n Luca\n \n ”, formerly Altaley Mining\nCorporation) is pleased to provide the following update on\nmetallurgical test work to improve precious metals recoveries at its\nCampo Morado Mine, located in the state of Guerrero, Mexico.\n \n \n Highlights\n \n \n \n Pilot-scale testing of Jameson Cell technology\nat Campo Morado, operating at micro-fine grind levels, demonstrates\nthe ability to significantly improve recoveries and concentrate grades\nacross both copper and lead streams, together with moderate\nimprovements in the zinc stream and potential reductions in operating\ncosts.\n \n \n Historical testing demonstrated the ability of the\nJameson Cell to achieve final concentrate grades of between 13% - 28%\ncopper, at excellent unit recoveries of between 70-90%. For reference,\ncurrent copper recovery is approximately 51%, with a concentrate grade\nof 13-16% Cu.\n \n \n Luca’s recent Jameson pilot plant testing on\nfeed to first lead cleaner on Test 17 returned a recovery of 70.74%\nlead resulting in a concentrate grade of 37.93% lead, which is a\nsignificant improvement from Luca past lead production. By comparison,\naverage lead recoveries of 29% and concentrate grades of 22% Pb were\nachieved by Luca during all of 2021.\n \n \n \n “\n \n Both the historical and 2022 pilot-scale Jameson Cell\ntesting generated very encouraging results\n \n ”, said Mike\nStruthers, CEO. “\n \n As we continue to stabilise the overall\noperation, the next step with the Jameson Cells is to have all the\ntesting reviewed by third party experts, then prepare a study to\ndefine how the cells would be added into the existing circuits, the\ncosts and schedule for doing so, and an economic evaluation.
