(TSX Venture Exchange:\nLA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Roger Moss as President and\na Director of the company.\n\n\nDr. Moss is a professional geologist with fourteen years international\nexperience in the mineral exploration industry, including seven years in\nsenior management positions at Amerigo Resources Ltd. and Nikos Explorations\nLtd. Dr. Moss was instrumental in the discovery of the Navachab gold deposit\nin Namibia which, after 12 years of operation, still contains reserves and\nresources of 3.7 million oz gold. He has conducted extensive research on\nhydrothermal ore deposits, culminating with a Ph.D. in geology at the\nUniversity of Toronto in 2000.\n\n\nLos Andes Copper Ltd. has an interest in the Vizcachitas Property located\nin the province of San Felipe, Region V, Chile, an area of low elevation with\nexcellent infrastructure, including water and power, and with an indicated\nresource of 144 million tonnes grading 0.53% copper and 0.015% molybdenum and\nan inferred resource of 211 million tonnes grading 0.46% copper and 0.016%\nmolybdenum, at a 0.40% copper cut-off, as detailed in the NI43-101 compliant\ntechnical report of A.C.A.
